Oklahoma Lama Association
The Oklahoma Lama Association is a progressive organization dedicated to promoting lamas by:

  - Educating the public about the care and nutritional requirements of lamas.
  - Involvement in Community activities.
  - Encouraging and supporting 4-H and FFA projects.
  - Sponsoring Alpaca and Llama Shows (ALSA) sanctioned shows.
  - Sponsorship of the ALSA Central Regional Championship Show.
  - Providing scholarships to veterinary students.
  - Providing education seminars/workshops on recent developments in the care            and handling of lamas.
  - Representing members' views at the national level when necessary.

Friends Fur Ever Fiber Fest!  Looking for something to do with all that fiber from shearing?  Check out the Fiber Fest in Hitchcock, OK on April 18, 2009!  For more information, click here.
Fundraiser!  Pat Bodkin is selling hand-made llama pictures to raise money for the 2009 Heartland Youth Show.  These pictures come in three sizes:  small-$10, medium-$15, and large-$25.  For more information, please contact Pat Bodkin.  You can view a few of these pictures here.
