Oklahoma Lama Association
The Oklahoma Lama Association is a progressive organization dedicated to promoting lamas by:

  - Educating the public about the care and nutritional requirements of lamas.
  - Involvement in Community activities.
  - Encouraging and supporting 4-H and FFA projects.
  - Sponsoring Alpaca and Llama Shows (ALSA) sanctioned shows.
  - Sponsorship of the ALSA Central Regional Championship Show.
  - Providing scholarships to veterinary students.
  - Providing education seminars/workshops on recent developments in the care            and handling of lamas.
  - Representing members' views at the national level when necessary.

2008 Heartland Youth Show Winners!  This year's show was another huge success.  But as always it wouldn't have been possible without our volunteers!  Be sure to thank our trophy donors and to congratulate the youth exhibitors on their achievements!
Youth Award Winners for 2007!  The OK.L.A. recently honored four youths who have earned recognition awards from ALSA for the year 2007.  The following received certificates awarded by vice-president Dana McCullough at the April 20, 2008 meeting: Bethany Sackett, Johnathan Pope, Shelby Dunkle, and Colby Bodkin.
